“Classroom Silence on 9/11: A Failure of Education?”

Today’s topic: “Truth in Academia: Antinomy or Oxymoron?” Guests: James Fetzer and Four Arrows – two professors who have struggled for truth in academia. (Four Arrows has just published a peer-reviewed paper entitled “Classroom Silence on 9/11: A Failure of Education?”)

The late, great Lynn Margulis said on my radio show that the American public’s inability to recognize the obvious controlled demolition of the three World Trade Center skyscrapers represents a catastrophic failure of American science education.

First hour: Dr. James Fetzer, McKnight Professor Emeritus at the University of Minnesota Duluth, has conducted extensive research into the assassination of JFK, the events of 9/11, and the plane crash that killed Sen. Paul Wellstone. Professor Fetzer’s appearances on Jesse Ventura’s talk radio show, before Ventura became Governor of Minnesota, are largely responsible for awakening Ventura to the crimes and corruption of the Deep State.

Dr. Fetzer was Fox News’ first choice to be scapegoated and demonized for “teaching 9/11 conspiracy theories” in June 2006. After Fetzer made Ollie North look like an idiot, Hannity came back from vacation and tried to scapegoat and demonize me, with equally dubious results. Score: Scholars 2, Fox Propagandists zero!

Second hour: Four Arrows, a professor at Fielding Graduate University, had to struggle to publish his article “”Classroom Silence on 9/11: A Failure of Education?” The process of negotiating less-than-useful peer review comments was, shall we say, educational. He writes:

“I want to announce what might be the first academic article in critical education on the failure of schools to study 9/11. After four rejections, it will be published out of NUML, the largest university in Pakistan with 10,000 students and a solid international reputation. Here is citation though it won’t be published until next week. Four Arrows is the author of many books and the co-author, with Jim Fetzer, of American Assassination: The Strange Death of Paul Wellstone. He was hounded from his teaching position at another American university – indeed, hounded out of the USA – due to his 9/11 and Wellstone assassination research.
